The first Triathlon European Championships at Kitzbuehl was the the biggest EC in its 30year history. For the second time, since the Olympic Games in London 2012, both, the female Olympic Champion Nicola Spirig and the male Olympic Champion Alistair Brownlee, were competing on the same racecourse. More than A 2,400 competitors out of 40 nations and 75 elite women and elite men were fighting for the European Champions title in Kitzbuehel from June 19th until June 22nd 2014.
Kitzbuehel hosted the best triathletes of Europe at the beginning of the qualification process for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Sports tv media provided the live feed and produced an international highlight show program.
