24. Kitzbühel Alpine Rally 2011 - 25th – 28th May 2011 Kitzbühel, Tyrol, Austria

In three days 590 kilometres through the alps

The popular rally in the Alps is one of the most glorious classic car events. The route leads through the mountains of Tyrol, Salzburg, and Bavaria. Veteran car fans from all over Europe are attracted by the event.

Prestigious names like Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Jaguar, Ferrari, Maserati, Bentley, Rolls Royce, lordly limousines, elegant coupés, classy racing cars of passed decades, selected classic cars from the fifties up to the seventieth … These all will stir the audience’s blood.

The unique landscapes, beautiful alpine passes as well as the chichi flair of Kitzbühel are contributing to the success of the classic race. Prominent participants coming from the world  racing sport, show business, economy and sport give the event a special touch.

Cars with the year of construction no later than 1976 are eligible for the race. Brand new satellite chronometry will be applied for the time measurement. The race is divided into two categories:

• Alpenrallye -Sport-Trophy for the enthusiasts of a rally
• Alpenrallye -Classic-Trophy for the connoisseurs

• 1.30 - 6.00 p.m.: Marshalling of vehicles at Parc fermé
• 7.30 p.m.: Pre-Welcome

Thursday, 26th May 2011

• 8.00 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.: Marshalling of vehicles at Parc fermé. Distribution of rallye papers and roadbooks, from 2 p.m.
• 4.00 - 5.15 p.m.: Extension marshalling of vehicles
• 2.45 p.m. - 3.00 p.m.: Driver briefing (participation obligated) / Kitzbühel (Wirtschaftskammer)
• 3.30 p.m.: PROLOG – Tour “Kaiser”-Start at ½ minute intervals Start in Reith bei Kitzbühel – Finish Kitzbühel/Vorderstadt Reith bei Kitzbühel – St. Johann in Tirol – Going am Wilden Kaiser – Ellmau – Oberndorf in Tirol – Reith bei Kitzbühel – Kitzbühel
• 7.30 p.m.: Classic Car Rally Welcome Evening
